When you cannot see what God is doing
John 11:25
Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life.
When you cannot see what God is doing. You can look completely fine on the outside while this is doing a number on you inside. The first feeling is not always the problem. The problem is what you let that feeling authorize. Fear can authorize control. Rejection can authorize chasing. Shame can authorize hiding. Exhaustion can authorize choices you would not make from a clear mind. Biblical hope is not pretending everything will turn out the way you pictured. It is confidence that Jesus Christ is still Lord and resurrection is real. The goal today is not to control the outcome. It is to stay aligned with Christ while the outcome is still unknown.
What would change if you stopped treating this moment like a verdict?
Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
